Track 4: Emerging Multimedia Applications and Technologies
Track Description
This track focuses on the latest advances in multimedia technologies and their emerging applications across diverse domains. It explores innovative approaches in image, video, audio, and multimodal data processing, analysis, and understanding, as well as the development of intelligent multimedia systems and interactive applications. The track highlights the integration of immersive technologies, virtual reality, metaverse environments, multimedia learning, and data-driven approaches to enhance digital experiences, communication, and societal applications. Researchers are encouraged to contribute novel theories, methodologies, algorithms, and systems that advance multimedia technologies and their real-world impact.

Dr. Felicisimo E. Santiago, Southern Luzon State University, Philippines
Bio
Dr. Felicisimo E. Santiago is a Doctor of Education major in Educational Management and a Juris Doctor as well. He spent almost two decades in Thailand as a language teacher in Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and Chulalongkorn University respectively. Aside from his regular teaching job, he also served as an adjunct lecturer for three years for the Philippine Christian University in its transnational education program in Bangkok, Thailand. After spending almost two decades abroad, he finally came back home to the Philippines in 2022. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Southern Luzon State University – Gumaca Campus in the Philippines teaching Research, Professional Education and Law subjects, and is also designated as the Campus Registrar. His research interests include Language Teaching, Higher Education, and other multidisciplinary studies. He is a Scopus and Google Scholar author, and has been a peer reviewer for several international conferences, more particularly about culture and languages, and educational conferences, since 2020 up to the present.
