ICEMT 2022|Hybrid Conference (Guangzhou, China +Zoom Online), July 13-15, 2022 |Photo Download

The 6th International Conference on Education and Multimedia Technology (ICEMT 2022) has been successfully held under the theme “Teaching Innovation Towards the Cultivation of Future Talents” in Guangzhou, China and Zoom from July 13th to 15th, 2022 with particial onsite. The conference was organized by South China Normal University, China and hosted by the School of Information Technology in Education of South China Normal University, and technically supported by Purdue University Northwest and Jissen Women's University.

With 3 keynote speeches,  3 plenary lectures, 9 invited talks and 71 oral presentations contributions from over 100 participants from 13 countries (China, USA, Germany, Japan, UK, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Perú, Canada, Thailand), the success of the conference was attributed foremost to the quality and scope of the technical program which presented the latest trends in education and multimedia technology. All the submissions were subjected to peer-review by committee members and international reviewers. Topics were presented in 8 general technical sessions covering all aspects of the development and processing of Education and Multimedia Technology, including Blended Learning and Hybrid Teaching, Educational Data Mining and Learning Analysis, STEM Education, Education Innovation and Construction, ICT Assisted Instruction, Educational Information System and Smart Education. The conference is dedicated to emerging applications and novel methods in education technology.

由华南师范大学主办, 教育信息技术学院承办的2022年第六届教育与多媒体国际会议(ICEMT)在广州和线上成功召开。由于部分地区疫情原因,会议再次采用线上云参会及线下现场相结合的方式,为给予参会者全方位、高质量体验。会议在使用ZOOM在线会议软件为广大从事教育与多媒体新理论及其应用教学的科研人员提供一个交流学习的平台。有近100多名专家学者参加了本次会议,线上听众累计600余人次。本次大会共邀请到3位教育 与多媒体领域的知名专家做主旨报告,3位全体报告,9位特邀报告,和8场分论坛讨论。

Steering Committee Co-Chair, Prof. Qingchao Ke (Vice Dean of School of Information Technology in Education ) host the opening ceremony and morning keynote session. The vice-president of South China Normal University, China, Prof. Wenhai Chen addressed the opening remarks as the Honorary Chair and also expressed his sincere gratitude to the co-organizers and warm welcome to all the experts and scholars attending the conference. At the same time, the Conference Organizing Chair, Prof. Zehui Zhan made welcome address at the convention. The Dean of School of Information Technology in Education , Prof. Xuebo Zhang and the Vice Dean Prof. Pengze Wu also attened the onsite conference.
Prof. Xiaobin Liu, Prof. Shanyun Kuang and Dr. Tingting Li were chaired the pleanary session and invited sessions respectively.

We have invited 3 respectable professors to deliver an unusual keynote addresses, consisting of Prof. Benjamin W. Wah (ACM Fellow, IEEE Fellow, The Chinese University Of Hong Kong, China), Prof. Jianli Jiao, (South China Normal University, China ), Prof. Zehui Zhan (South China Normal University, China) and 3 pleanry speakers, they are Prof. Zhixian Zhong, (Jiangxi Normal University, China), Prof. Anja Pfennig (HTW Berlin - University Of Applied Sciences, Germany), and Prof. Xiwen Zhang (Beijing Language And Culture University, China). Moreover, it adds 9 invited speakers from universities at home and abroad.

The conference was composed of 8 technical oral sessions and poster sessions. Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference, with the support of session chairs.
