Kyoto

Located in central Honshu, Nagoya is better known as the industrial hub in Japan. However, do not be quick to dismiss the country’s fourth-largest city as a boring industrial centre with little to see and do. As a modern industrial city, Nagoya is an extensively well-maintained urban centre boasting an interesting mix of traditional and contemporary architecture and a long list of mouth-watering cuisines

Here we just recommend some sightseeings to you, not the final arrangement. The detailed arrangement will be updated in the early of July 2019.

The Nagoya City Science Museum

The Nagoya City Science Museum has many highlights such as an external appearance of landmark design featuring the spherical shape of the world's biggest planetarium with a diameter of 35 meters, a highly realistic starry sky that shown on the planetarium's screen, a -30 degree ºC room where you can see aurora images. The building itself is the exhibition with its photovoltaic power generation equipment used to power the building, the green wall, and a way to see its earthquake-proof contraction as well as its elevator structure. Please come visit the Nagoya City Science Museum not only for its value as a learning facility but as a tourist attraction as well.

Ancient Yu Li Bridge (Island)
Experience a slice of traditional Japanese culture during this day trip combining Shirakawago and Hida Takayama. Wander the streets of Hida Takayama, a town affectionately known to locals as ‘Little Tokyo.’ You can enjoy your lunch here.

Continue after lunch by coach to Shirakawago, a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s known for its traditional Japanese architecture. You’ll have around 90 minutes to admire the area’s collection of historic Japanese-style farmhouses built using the “Gassho-zukuri” method, a roof technique that looks like two hands placed together in prayer. You’ll then transfer back to the JR Nagoya station to finish your excursion.

Hida Takyama is a picturesque town with many places to explore. You were given two hours to walk around the town to go into the shops and visit the historic areas of the town. Enjoy the small museum near the bus parking area that had the history of the town. Next, please go though stunning mountains and valleys with many tunnels and bridges to Shirakawago which was very beautiful and historic. The houses are of a unique construction and very well preserved. You can take the historic village walking tour which is only about 8 and it is worth it. The scenery in and around the Shirakawago is breathtaking.
